AMBER’S POV I just stepped into my house when I saw a black sleek card slide under my door. I looked around but there was no one there so I closed the door before picking up the card. It felt heavier than normal paper and the letters were embossed in gold. My name was written across the front in neat bold strokes. Nothing else. No return address and no handwriting. Just my name.
