ERNALINE'S POV:

I snap back to reality when Kuya Reiden flicks my forehead using his forefingers.

"Ano bang problema mo?" Napipikang tanong ko rito.

Naglakad si Kuya Reiden papasok ng Montenegro Empire kaya naman sumunod ako dito.

"I instructed you to improve your appearance, Ernaline Ashleigh. You will be accompanying me to all of my domestic and international meetings as my assistant for the entire week. "

"So, kailangan bantayan mo ako 24/7?" Nakangiwing sabi ko dito.

All of the employees pass us by, their faces full of questions as to who am I and why I am with Reiden Grei - the CEO of Montenegro Empire.

"Kahit itali kita sa bewang ko, gagawin ko." He answered in his usual serious face.

I squeezed my cheek inside my mouth and followed him as he entered the elevator that exclusive one for him and his business partners.

Kahit pinagtitinginan ako ng mga empleyado ay wala akong pakialam sa kanila. Gusto ko na lang na magkapalit kami ng posisyon nang maranasan nila kung gaano kabangis ang kapatid kong si Reiden Grei.

"Ashleigh, I kindly request that you refrain from staring at me. I understand that it may be unintentional, but it can be uncomfortable and unsettling for me. Inirapan ko si Kuya nang makitang nakatitig ako ng masama sa kanya gamit ang salamin ng elevator.

Hinayaan ko si Kuya na magsalita nang magsalita sa tabi ko hanggang sa tumunog ang pinto ng elevator, hudyat yon na nasa tamang floor na kami kung na saan ang opisina niya.

"Did you get what I said Ashleigh?" Dugtong pa nito nang mauna akong lumabas ng elevator at sinundan niya ako.

"Yeah, yeah. Whatever Reiden Grei," tinatamad na sagot ko dito.

Pagkaliko ko sa isang corner, sumalubong sa amin ang isang babaeng hindi ko kilala na nakasuot rin ng pencil cut office dress na halos lumuwa ang dibdin nitong sapilitang pinuno ng silicon dahilan para mapatigil ako paglalakad dahil muntikan akong sumubsob sa pabrika ng silicon.

"Fvck!?" Rinig kong mura ni Kuya nang bumangga siya sa akin pero agad na pumulupot ang braso nito sa likod ng bewang ko para hindi ako matumba dahilan para umangat ang isang kilay ni silicon factory.

"Good morning Mr. Montenegro," bati ni silicon nang iwasan niya ako at hinarap si Kuya.

My brother didn't left his arms on my waist as he talk with silicon girl. Hindi naman ako naa-awkward dahil mukhang alam ko na ang gustong mangyari ni Kuya.

It's his defense mechanism when a girl like Silicon wants to flirt with him that's why he is using me as his shield.

Ngumiti ako ng matamis kay Kuya nang lingonin ko ito pero ang atensyon nito ay na kay silicon girl. Ramdam ko kung paanong humigpit ang kamay ni Kuya sa bewang ko.

"As what you wanted, I sent a request to Ocampo Enterprises for them to come here and Kuruzaki Empire wants a detour inside Montenegro as he visits your business, Sir."

"Kuruzaki can do whatever he wants without telling me."

Senri Daeyl Kuruzaki, one of my brothers friend and also his business partners. When Kuya Reiden took the position as the CEO; he let his friends invade our company to invest and ask them to make his dream come true at hindi naman nagkamali si Kuya dahil sa isang iglap, namayagpag agad sa business world ang Montenegro using his own power and connections.

"To elaborate, the meeting that you had scheduled with Mr. Bloodfist was unfortunately cancelled. Mr. Bloodfist himself reached out to inform you of the cancellation, and he expressed his apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Additionally, his secretary advised you to reschedule the meeting to a later date. If you would like, I can assist you with rescheduling the meeting for a more convenient time."

Kuya Reiden heaves a sigh as he massages his temple.

"I am pleased to inform you that for the next seven days, Ashleigh has been appointed as my assistant. Therefore, I kindly request that you take some time off and allow her to take over your duties. You can rest assured that your work will be handled with utmost care and professionalism. I understand that you might be concerned about the workload, but I assure you that Ashleigh is more than capable of handling it. She is a highly skilled and efficient worker who can complete tasks promptly without compromising on quality. Feel free to delegate any pending work to Ashleigh, and she will take care of it promptly. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any concerns or questions regarding this matter. I appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this regard."

Nakagat ko ang pang-ibabang labi ko nang hapitin ako ni Kuya Reiden palapit sa kanya. Gusto ko siyang bigwasan sa mga pinagsasabi niya dahil wala naman akong alam tungkol sa paper works, arrainging documents, meeting and such?

"But Sir I am your secretary." Pigil nito sa Kuya ko nang magsimula itong maglakad at isinama ako.

"Do I need to repeat what I have said Miss Contour?"

"Pft!" Napatakip ako sa sarili kong bibig nang sabay na napatingin sa akin si Kuya at si Miss Silicon dahil sa pagpipigil ko ng tawa.

Naunang umalis si Miss Silicon sa harap namin kaya naman nagtuloy na sa paglalakad si Kuya papasok ng opisina niya. Kuya Reiden open the door for me as he let me in first. Kahit masungit tung bwisit na ito, may natitira pa ring maginoo sa dugo nito.

Nang makaupo ako sa couch malapit sa mesa ni Kuya ay doon ang bumunghalit ng tawa dahil sa itsura ng secretary niya.

"Cut it out Ernaline," naiinis na saway nito sa akin pero hindi nito mapigilan ang pagtawa ko.

"Oh my god! You bring me here just to get rid of that exotic kind of species? Please have some taste Reiden Grei," I said between my laugh.

Kuya Reiden slam himself on his swivel chair at padabog na kinuha ang papeles na nasa mesa nito habang ako naman ay namimilipit sa tawa.

"I can't believe Glyden chose a woman to be my secretary without consulting me. I told him that I didn't need one, but one day I just woke up and there she was - this exotic creature. Let me be clear, I have no interest in her whatsoever." Napipikang paliwanag ni Kuya.

"In fairness kuhang kuha ng kung sino mang poncio pilato na 'yan ang inis mo. Hindi mo mapaalis kaya ako ang ginamit mo? Nice move Montenegro," muling umalingawngaw ang halakhak ko sa buong opisina ni Kuya. Kami lang naman ang nandito kaya okay lang kung maging balahura ang itsura.

"Shut up and move your ass out of my office Ashleigh," aniya.

Napatayo ako sa sobrang tuwa. Akala ko aalilain niya ako eh, yon lang naman pala ang gagawin ko, ang maging girlfriend nya for a day since no one knows that Reiden and I are siblings except our family and friends.

"Ayos! Pwede na akong umuwi?" Nakangiting wika ko dito.

Umangat ang tingin ni Kuya papunta sa direksyon mula sa papel na binabasa nito at kunot-noo ako nitong tinitigan.

"You can't." Mabilis na nagbago ang hilatsa ng mukha ko.

"Akala ko ba tapos na ang trabaho ko? Nagpanggap ako na girlfriend mo, tapos ang usapan."

"I didn't tell you to act as my girlfriend Ashleigh. I did that on purpose to get rid of that walking silicon."

Laglag ang panga ko sa sinabi niya. "Hoy! Kuya masama ang manglait ng kapwa!"

Halos maglupasay ako sa sahig nang bumunghalit ako ng tawa dahil sa sinabi ni Kuya. I never thought he could say that kind of words towards a woman. I can't believe it!
