Nightmares

*Muriel Pov*

I shot up out of the bed thinking I was still in my old pack. I turn my head and saw a concerned-looking Xavier, "Are you okay?"

"I-um... Ye, I'm fine."

"No, you're not what was you dreaming about you were screaming 'please don't in your sleep'. If you don't want to talk about it now then it's okay just know that you're safe here."

"No, it's okay ill tell you."

So I told him about everything. He looked angry in some parts, but he kept calm so he didn't scare me. I can't believe how comfortable I am with him already but it feels so natural. We stared into each other's eyes he slowly leaned in and kissed me it was soft yet passionate. He pulled away after a minute or two. 

"I'm so sorry for kissing you," he said quickly panicking.

"No it's okay I kinda enjoyed it," I replied laughing a bit at the end.

He gets up to leave I grab his hand and asked, "Please can you stay."

"You sure?" I noded "I-um okay." He climbed into the bed I turned around to face him

"Goodnight Xavier."

"Goodnight Muriel"

I snuggled into his chest and fell asleep to the sound of his breathing and heartbeat.
