Raven stared at Ava standing in her doorway with tears running down the princess's face. Her chest felt like it was being crushed under the weight of everything she had just learned. She wanted to slam the door shut because looking at Ava's face was just another reminder of the family that had destroyed hers, but something in the princess's expression stopped her. "What do you want?" Raven asked, her voice coming out flat because she had no energy left for pretending or being polite. "I overheard everything," Ava said as more tears spilled over her cheeks. "I was coming to find Aaron when I heard you talking. I heard what he said about the Hunts." Raven felt her stomach drop because now, Ava knew who she really was which meant the carefully constructed lies she had been living behind
