"I'm going to kill him," He said, his voice low and dangerous. "I'm going to find him and I'm going to make him regret ever laying eyes on you."
"No," Ava said, pulling back to look at her brother through her tears. "No, please don't do anything. It's done. The bond is severed. There's nothing you can do."
"Nothing I can do?" Aaron's voice rose with anger. "He deliberately hurt you, Ava. He caused you pain. I'm not going to let that stand."
