Elyon planned an evening barbecue party for us.
My parents, unfortunately, won't be able to make it. They have border patrol duty, and by the time they return, it'll already be the next day. I will have already left by then. I truly hoped that extending our stay by a day would allow me to see them again, but sadly that's not going to happen.
I'm definitely not eager to hang out with pack members who are aware that Elyon rejected me. It's bound to be an uncomfortable gathering. After tonight, the gossip mill within the pack will undoubtedly go into overdrive. I'm uncertain about Elyon's intentions or if he simply made a last-minute decision.
