Megan was nowhere to be found after the incident.

Her parents and brothers still came by to socialize with us but they avoided any conversations related to their daughter's whereabouts and seemed oblivious about the events that transpired on the boat. It is possible that Megan provided an excuse to keep her family in the dark regarding the situation.
In any case, we women spent this Sunday gossiping about celebrities and their private lives. We shared cooking secrets and soaked up some sun at the beach. Meanwhile, the men sailed away in a small boat a little way out to sea hoping to catch some fish but returned empty-handed.
