Jane’s pov
I stopped at the edge of the forest and looked around, as Chastity started to get excited. “Zeke, he’s back. I can feel how much closer he is to us.” She said as she tried to push forward.
“Chastity stop, we can go find him, but you need to calm down. You can’t get tunnel vision right now.” I said as I started to walk out of the forest. The hair on the back of my neck stood up. I could feel eyes on me, so I turned around and there stood about three dozen zombies.
Tasha’s anguish and anger coming through our bond. I focused and dug up a long line of dirt. Digging a trench, I turned around and instantly ran into something. I looked up to see a very tall man, and he was a zombie. His body was half decomposed and I stood just up to his mid chest.
