Jane’s pov
I walked away from Galvin as calmly as I could. When I felt someone cross the border without permission I knew it had to be him. What I didn’t expect was him to have Black’s daughter. I ran towards the castle past all the zombies. Shivers ran down my spine when I saw some of them follow me with their gaze, and they looked terrifying.
I ran inside to Jeremy and Tasha. Jeremy walked out of the office and into the corridor as I neared it. He looked at me, surprised to see me back so fast. “I found Galvin.” I said quickly as we walked into the office.
“Where is he?” Tasha asked as she stood up and walked towards me.
“He is in the forest, he wants to make a trade.” I told her.
She looked at me skeptically, “what does he want?” She asked.
