CHAPTER 14

901 Words

"Rio," Bri shouts my name when I step out of the building and I whip my head in her direction. "Over here." She sticks her head out of the window and motions me to walk over to her car that is parked at the entrance, blocking the way completely. "Took you long enough!" She complains when I get closer. "Sorry, I had to use the stairs _and I wasted a few minutes staring back at Leo_." "They don't have elevators?" "I am not a big fan of those," I say, peeking at the girl that is sitting shotgun but I can't catch a nice glimpse of her since Bri is blocking her. And she doesn't even bother to say hello. How rude? "Get in the car already." She motions at the backseat and I wave the car key in my hand so tempted to remind her that I have a car. "I will get my car and ride behind you."
