"Would you like to grab lunch," I ask Nova as I pull into the school's parking lot some few minutes to noon. "Please, I am f*****g hungry," she says, forcing a dramatic yawn as she grabs our bags from the backseat and I chuckle. Why is she always so dramatic, if you’d seen her yawn you’d think she hasn’t eaten anything for weeks? She tosses me my bag after we both hop out of the car and I sling it over my shoulder while I fish out my phone from my pocket to check if Leo has texted back.
