(Walking through the hallway towards my locker) I hear voices in the utility’s closet.

Taking a peek through the open part, and was able to catch a view of Nate and his idiotic friends trying to scare a girl in my class. He was about to slap her when I busted in and put the girl behind me.

Enraged Nate: YOU BASTARD!!no one called you here so get out

NO!! Leave her alone! “My Tough voice kicked in”

Nate: Oh he’s acting tough just to save a girl (laughs annoyingly) we’ll listen up punk, YOU ARE A WEAK A** Ho......

I was so pissed off so I didn’t let him finish as I probably gave him the most painful,Face ripping punch ever, we began to tackle each other, it seemed I was on the dominant side and was happy to teach him a lesson. Not until I felt a sharp pain in my lower back, (weak) how could you?

The Girl: Sleep well..........

Regained consciousness,Vision blurry and Sweaty.

Could finally feel the excruciatingly painful twist in my knee which has been fixed but still painful.

Oh what the.. it was a dream I think, but it’s so strange, i tried to help her and she........

Was about to finish talking when I was interrupted by one of the nurses followed by Andie

Are you ok? Andie asks concerned.

Well yeah, I guess but it still hurts

Don’t worry you be fine, the nurse assures. I’m Janet by the way, thank you for the help.

It’s my job ok, I was on duty when you were rushed in, you’ll be discharged this evening so get some rest, thanks Janet, Andie thanks her.

I was discharged and my mom drove me home

It’s a long story mom, but in short I was in hired while trying to earn my spot during the tryouts(I felt bad for hiding the details from her, she deserves to know but I just don’t want her to get worried)

So... Mum how was work today?

Well, it wasn’t that stressful but sure was worried when I got the call from Andie ..

My phone? It was in my bag pack the whole time( meanwhile I had made a mental note to ask him the next day).

Nate’s POV:

OH YES I CAN young man!! The principle yelled

Principal Mollins: you almost impaled the boy on the basketball court so you’re hereby suspended for the next two weeks, and any other violations against the young man or any other kids in this school will result to expulsion.

Not only that,(the coach interrupted)you have also been suspended from the Oakville High basketball team!..

A week to the big game

I was sitting in the cafeteria eating lunch with Andie when Jessica from my class approach us,

Hey Tripp, she greeted. Congratulations

For what? I asked confused

You made the team, plus you didn’t just make it but you earned Nate’s spot on the team.

WHAT!! Oh my GOD!!

This is great news bro, Andie chipped in.

I was still celebrating over the news when a flash of realization struck me, She was the girl from my dream!!. Oh God I never thought I’d meet her.

She’s pretty though, but why’d she stab me in the dream?

I was lost in my own thoughts staring at Jessica when I was brought back to reality by Andie’s finger snapping.

But despite everything I think I began to feel a pull between Jessica and I, which was awkward but I think she felt the same.

Days passed and we began to spend more time together, this new, strange feeling was

unexplainable, plus I was shy to express my feelings.

Later that night

We were talking a walk Dow the road to her house when I summoned up the courage to tell her.

These few days i spent with you made me feel good, i was always happy and comfortable around you

Likewise, she smiles softly

I’ve been waiting for you to say that Tripp,she says excitedly.

We look deep in to each other’s eyes and all of a sudden she leaned forward and kissed me passionately.

It was my first but what I felt was remarkable.
