Lisa’s POV The next morning still didn’t feel real, hospitals had a way of making time lose meaning completely you know. The lights never fully went off, the hallways never truly became quiet. Everything existed in this strange in-between state where exhaustion and anxiety blended together until hours no longer felt separate, I wasn’t even sure I had slept.
