Lisa’s POV An hour later… there was a knock, “ma’am”, the maid said. “There’s a car waiting for you downstairs.” “Come in,” I said. She entered and I told her to help me with the small bag I had packed, I hadn’t packed much. Just essentials, bare minimum because the truth was… some of my things were still at my parents’ house, waiting, unresolved. I moved downstairs carefully, the driver was the same one I know.
