Raven Jackson backed up a step, cradling me against his chest like Chris had. He kept his body angled away from the edge of the docks, protecting me from the wind and spray of the water. Chris stepped forward. He crossed the distance between them in two strides. His fist came up fast. A brutal and clean hit. The sound of flesh hitting flesh had me wincing.
