I watched as her wide eyes drifted towards Amy. Seeing her panicked and so out of sorts that she barely recognized me tugged at a spot in my chest that I hadn't been aware was even there. I scooped her up in my arms, not trusting her legs to carry her. I walked an already known path to her office with Dominic trailing behind us.
