Amelia’s POV
“Hello, I was just about to call you.” I said as soon as I picked the call, pressing the phone to my ear. I wasn’t driving though, because I had to park when I saw the call.
Ollie had told me to call her and I was just about to do that, to at least, tell her I was on my way home to shower and get changed.
“Huh, hey, Amy.” She said. “There’s been a change in plans.” She said and I furrowed my brows, wondering what that meant. I wasn’t sure I wanted to link what was in my mind to her words right now though, because that would mean she didn’t do what I asked her to.
“What’s going on? Please, tell me you got the orders ready.” I said. Maybe I should be asking if she was all right, but right now, I was too scared to do so, plus her voice wouldn’t sound this okay if she wasn’t.
