His pov “Such a young assistant. I didn’t know Mr. Parker had such great taste,” he chuckled. His eyes shamelessly locked on her ass, as she walked away and I couldn’t control myself. She was mine, and nobody could look at her like that. “If I ever had such a beautiful assistant, I would have kept her close..so close to my body,” He continued, lips curling into a sleazy smile. My hands were trembling with rage, my blood was boiling in anger and the next second I threw a punch at his face. Hard. He was shocked with a sudden outburst. I grabbed the wine glass off the table, threw the wine on his face and let the glass shatter at his feet. Blood tickled from his nose to his lip. Fear was evident on his face. He should know the consequences of looking at my woman. “Mr Parker…I am sorry, please..I didnt know she was yours,” He stammered, his voice cracked in pain. I laughed hard, a cold and cruel sound. The kind of darkness that everybody is scared of. In the business world, I was called a black heart, a man who wasn't afraid of anything but that made others afraid of me. And one thing was clear– anyone who looked at her wouldn't get a chance to look twice. I will kill them personally for daring to look at what's mine through their eyes. “It was your eyes,” I said coldly, a low and dangerous laugh under my breath, making his breath hitch, panicked with horror. “They were the first traitors—dragging your mind straight into lust the moment you looked at her.” I said, as I knelt down, slowly picking up the shattered pieces of glass from the floor. He immediately dropped to his knees, hands pressed together in desperate pleas. “Please... forgive me. Let me go,” he begged, trembling. Every action has some consequences and especially when it involves what’s mine. And mercy was never my thing. It wasn't. “Maybe someday I would have forgiven you, but not today,” I stared straight into his eyes that were filled with tears and I didn't look away. The next moment, I pierced those eyes from his face. Blood flowed from his eyes, down to my hands. He screamed hard in pain, shouted, cried, but I didn't flinch. These screams were like music to my ears. I haven't listened to this for years. For years I haven't done something that could calm my dark mind. I have tried hard not to hurt others but today I lost it. I lost it when I saw my angel getting uncomfortable with those eyes. “Shh…My angel is still outside. She must never see this side of me.” I whispered, pressing the jagged glass gently against his trembling lips. He was shaking now and without a word, he pushed his fingers into his mouth, trying to muffle the screams that were already clawing their way out. “Good boy, now you know what you have to do,” I patted his head slowly like a tamed dog, as I gripped the shard of glass tightly in my other hand, and he nodded hard, still shaking with the fear I had given to his soul. “I am going outside to see my angel and you better be quiet or else you know what I am capable of,” I said calmly as I stood up, cleaning the mess he had made on my hands. I reached for the tissue, cleaned the blood from my hands and looked at him for ones. This was the horror I wanted to see in every face as I walked in the corridors. Fear and respect wrapped in terror. I smiled, slow and satisfied with what I had done and then I walked out. As I opened the door, I saw my angel, leaning in, ears pressed on the door, trying to catch even a whisper of what happened inside the room. She looked up with innocence and curiosity. And those eyes melted my heart. My obsession was getting darker day by day and it was difficult for me to control myself in front of her. I closed the door, like nothing happened. “Let’s go,” I said in a commanding tone. She nodded, still curious to know what happened inside the closed doors but love, it's not the right time to know about my dark side..not now. I didn't want to scare her now. But one day she will eventually see my other side and that day will be the day I will consume her whole. Her heart and her soul.
