104When Walt pulled off on the road leading to Noah's River Rock Ranch, Becca and Gaby waved and continued into downtown Phoenix. As promised, they parked in a busy area and made their way quickly into the hospital, all the while paying close attention to their surroundings.
They arrived in the waiting room which was filled with people anticipating news about loved ones. Gaby took a seat facing a TV that blared a noisy talk show while Becca checked in at the nurse's station. When she returned, she sat next to Gaby.
“They said his parents just left. They were here all night and returned to their hotel to rest. The nurse will speak with us shortly,” Becca said.
