75Becca worked on her hands and knees, scrubbing beneath a toilet in Cabin 6. Though she shouldn't have been surprised, the mess produced in one night was shocking. “Oh, Becca. You have lost your mind.” He stood in the doorway, leaning against the jamb, blocking any possible escape. Bile rose in Becca's throat. She did not look at him. She gazed up at the small window. Would she be able to get to it and open the sash before he could grab her? In a flash, she realized it was impossible.
