Episode 2

"Are you pregnant for Alpha Alex, Ava?"

Mia asked like it could be any other Person as she wore a face of anxiety.

"Ava are you sure the baby belongs to Alpha Alex?"

Mia asked her sister but quickly swallowed hard the gulp in her mouth as she retrieved her word when she sighted the terrified face of Ava.

"I am sorry Ava, but what makes you think he will accept you back because of that, he just caught you with another Wolf, of course, he would ask you the same question as mine"

Mia said as she drew Ava closer.

"Ava it is the sad reality but he does not seem to care for you anymore and he does not worth your precious tears because he has no atom of trust for you, you can imagine how he got to reject you so quickly without waiting to hear from you, you should reject him too Ava, why have you not rejected him yet?"

Mia said to her Sister pressing her to do the needful.

"No Ava, I will just leave"

She cried softly merging her teeth so hard as she fumed from pain, she does not want to reject Alex because she is still in love with him and the fact that he had rejected her did not make her feel hatred for him as she still wished and hoped he was going to stop his madness and retrieve his statement.

"Reject him Ava the pain might kill you and he doesn't even know how hurt you are right now, he has no f*****g idea"

Mia added in anger just when Zach opened the door again and without saying anything Ava slipped away from Mia.

"You should go now, thank you, Mia"

Ava said in a low whispery voice as Mia jumped to the door immediately from fear of being queried and starred at her Sister again while she slowly walked into the house, Zach shut the door so hard again like he had done the first time, and Ava dragged herself up and walked past the street with few draining eyes starring at her, she felt no shame any longer because the pain in her right seems to be more intensifying than their scrutinizing looks and blaming stares, she would not be able to make it out of the city with this aching body of hers, so she decided to visit a chemist, she walked in and the Blunt old Man with a grey bald hair just in the middle and the rest of the hair just at the left and right side of his round head, he has a moustache too which was also grey that his mouth could not be easily identified.

"Some pain killer please"

She tried to speak to him from behind her teeth as she felt her stomach tighten and locked, her whole body became so sour that she could not wait to be given her drugs so she could leave immediately, just while she was impatiently waiting for the Man, she heard a voice from inside, getting closer to her.

"You are Ava, the Kappa's daughter"

he said to her as he giggled, his moustache moving like it was going to drop from his short laughter, Ava just nodded to him in confirmation as he handed her a brown pack of drugs, Ava wondered if that was even proper since her Father had just rejected her yet she just confirmed to someone that she was his daughter, Ava set to leave when she suddenly stopped again at the voice of the Man.

"You are the Luna"

he said and whimpered softly looking down from his thin glasses as he brought them down a little with his middle finger. Ava bit her lower lip so hard but could not feel pain as she finally set to leave, she wondered why the old man chooses to humiliate her or was it that he haven't heard at all.

"I know, but you are still the Luna, you are only having a shift of destiny"

he said and smiled, the old man must have listened to Ava's thoughts as he just replied to them immediately but Ava said nothing in return to him as she just left the chemist quickly wondering what rubbish the Man was saying, was he trying to give her hope or something, or was he just playing with her emotions right now, she crossed to the other side of the building and joined the public bus, she sat close to the bus window side and looked down at the city she ones lived freely and happily, the city that once carried her with so much pride and ego only to have rejected her.

Ava was fast asleep inside the ride and she doesn't even know that they've gotten to the last edge of the city outside the yellow stone Pack, she opened her eyes softly when the bus driver patted her to wake up.

"You should get down now, it getting late"

initially, all of those statements sounded like it was all a dream as her eyes were still blurred and her head so hot that it aches and she had to hold tight as if she was trying to avoid it from falling.

"This is the last edge of the city miss, get down!"

The voice came again and she knew she was fully awake in an entirely different world, unlike the yellow stone pack, this particular geographical area is much more occupied and busy, she got down from the bus clueless as she was not even aware of where she was or where she was headed, all Ava had noticed right now is that everyone around her right now is humans, just as she moved ahead and away from the bus, she could still feel the drivers eyes on her body as he said something she was not sure of hearing properly.

"What?"

She asked gently to show him I did not hear him, he tugged his palms into his tight blue jean and repeated himself to her.

"I said you do not look like you know where you are heading to, if you just walk ahead a little, you will find a hotel not far from you, you can rest there for the night,"

he said to her kindly as she nodded gently.

"Thanks"

she simply said and went away quickly, the earth is getting darker and she might just need that hotel for the night, Ava walked quickly and dared not stop now that the pain killer was still doing miracles to her body, she does not want to stop and be hijacked by the pain before she gets to her destination, instead, she kept walking and it almost looks like she was limping when she gets to the hotel at last.

"WELCOME"

was what was gigantically written right in front of the tall building as she heaved a sigh of relief and walked into the building looking around at something different, she sighed again and out of a constant habit, she took a whiff of the air in search of other wolf but fortunately for her, everyone here was human as she could only perceive the smell of humans around. She walked a few meters into the building and found a hostess right at the entrance that engaged her with a bright broad smile, Ava felt it is fascinating how welcoming and nice humans are, what if they could identify that she was a wolf, what would they do? She thought to herself.

Unlike the humans, the werewolves do not have such receptions for humans because they are not even welcome but humans here have so many other hostesses and even some smaller guest houses, Ava dragged herself further inside as she searched herself and realised she had no money on her anymore accept her credit card.

"f**k, f**k" was all she could say and wished seriously that her Father have not thought about cutting her off yet, she quickly moved in to find the clerk who welcomed her warmly with a smile too as Ava handed her the card quickly like she was only given few minutes to use it before it finally gets cut off.

"a room please,"

she said to the clerk.

"Alright beautiful angel"

The clerk blurted as Ava tried not to roll her eyes, at that time she was already feeling the cringing pain again in her body she wished the clerk was going to act faster instead of taking her time.

Fortunately for her, the card worked as she moved immediately to her room, now it was not just because of the pain but also the awful smell of the Clerk's body, the humans normally have awful smells toward werewolves but this was far more terrorizing to Ava as she smelled like a rotten dead rat, just when she got to the room, she opened the rest room in the toilet and spit out all she had gathered in her mouth and just as she had predicted, the room was untidy. It was an old, dirty and stinky apartment with a bed in the middle and a single chair just by the window side, Ava almost choked from the dust mites and was worried that she could find buds on the bed and just like the awful smell of the clerk, the bed also smell alike, Ava could not wait for morning so she could get herself out of this place, just as she was trying to condole the smell, the pains of her cracking bones just returned fully as she swallowed the pills again immediately, she slept almost at the edge of the bed as she tried not to close her eyes but her body was begging her for a long rest as she gave in the struggle in no time to fall asleep, she did not bother laying the bed properly or using the blanket, instead, she slept directly on the blanket and snores softly from so much stress, the pills must have been helping in getting a perfect sleep too, considering how deep she slept in the bus.

Mia walked towards the pink mini mirror in her room and sat on the chair just right in front of it, she backed the bed behind her as the beautiful room reflected in the mirror, the bed is petite but beautifully laid with a pink blanket and a bed spray, the entire four walls of the room were painted pink with fairy stickers stuck to the walls, her bed was occupied with a big pink teddy and you would wonder how they manage to occupy the bed together, she had her hair curled up in a cool lovely chiffon layered style as she was still putting on her pink pyjamas, Mia looked into the mirror with a wide grin that almost looked horrific before she got up to pull down her pyjamas and wore a milk silky peplum gown, she looked so adorable in it but not until she wet her lips, changing its colour into a red masked lip, she sprayed herself as she gently closed her eyes to sniff the beautiful air that comes with the lovely vanilla aroma.

"Here comes the Luna"

Mia blurted to herself in front of the mirror and sighed
