I followed Jason quietly to the dark room. It was dim and oppressive. There were two chairs and one table. It looked more like an interrogation room. Jason lit the lamp on the table, and the shadows pulled back just enough to make it worse. Jason sat down on one of the chairs. I stood beside him. Silence filled the room. Footsteps stopped outside the door. Then it opened. Marco came in first, followed by two of Jason’s men. Between them was the huge looking man.
