Chapter 2: A war begins

"Hey...everyone, be calm." Evelyn lifted her head as she met A sexy lady in a red suit, with her long black hair and a mini big handbag.

Mr Lucas watched the lady as his hands tightened off in fear. His eyes was trying to figure out what's going on.

"My love...", The sexy lady Lucy said as she walked toward Lucas while placing a deep kiss on his lips.

Evelyn watched the scene, as she tried to get what's was going on.

"What's...going on here?" Evelyn asked while she glanced at the tall lady.

"You're little wife?" Lucy said, folding her hands firmly at Lucas' body, as she stared at Evelyn with a win look.

"Who is she...?" Evelyn yelled at Lucas, her cracked voice pulled out firmly.

Everyone glanced at them surprisely, are theirs faces trying to picture what was going on.

"I told you..." Derick said, getting up from the ground. His hands firmly at his lips as he glanced at Lucy before letting off a laugh.

"Told me what???" she said again, her voice shaken.

"He lied to you; he deceived you over marrying since he couldn't get off from his lover..." Derick got interrupted by Lucas.

Don't you Dare!!!

He warned him with his fingers pointed at him deeply, their eyes fighting each other.

"Dare what? Exactly? You can't get away from Lucy, but you didn't allow me to have Evelyn for myself", Derick lashed out with anger.

His hands pumped up with veins all over as he moved closer to punch Lucas firmly but got stopped by a gunshot.

Everyone screamed their lungs out as they ran outside. Evelyn got down, as she held her ears from the sound.

"Babe... please calm down." Evelyn lifted her head as she watched Lucas pecking and pleading with Lucy. His hands were on her gently as she smiled devilishly.

"You know what to do," Lucy said, as she placed her wet lips with his. Their passionate kiss lifted Evelyn's anger, as she got closer to Lucy to punch the hell out of her.

"Hey... sshhh", Lucy said, pointing the gun at Evelyn; her breath seized instantly as she stared in fear.

"Let's go..." Lucy said, pulling him with her.

"You're leaving?" Evelyn felt her heart seize as it hit her lungs, gasping for more air.

"I'm sorry, I need her for my wealth status". That was the last word Evelyn could hear before watching them walk out of the hall in a rush.

Nothing felt as pain in her heart as this; her hand was placed around her chest as she gasped for air. Bringing her body back to reality, but as soon as she could move her legs out.

"You lost both ways," Derrick's voice distracted her from her trauma as he laughed with happiness.

He rubbed his wound with a white handkerchief while he glanced at her before walking out of the hall.

For over ten minutes, Evelyn sat down on the floor crying her eyes out. Staring at everyone who had left, and even Linda had tried to comfort her but couldn't.

"I can't believe this, Lucas?", the memories of them struggling together. She had always tried her best to this day, but now she is hurt.

Evelyn strode up in pain as decide to put all means to pull herself together while walking toward a taxi she booked.

"I must get my things out of that damn d**k" she hummed.

"We arrive, Ma," the driver said, sighting Evelyn's swollen face in his mirror.

"Thank you..." she said, waving at him before striding out of the car.

Evelyn felt the hot freeze flowing down her white skin, as she walked with pains in her chest.

Getting to the gate, as she opened it while walking toward the apartment.

She stared at the door, recounting a lot of memories that happened today. I took a deep breath before knocking on Lucas's door.

For the fourth time, the door slide opened, making her j******f from her phone as she stared at the weak and wicked man infront of her.

"Evelyn..." Mr Lucas tried laying some words out of pity but got stuck by Lucy at the door.

"You came for your belongings, right? Please hurry up. My son is sleeping," she said, pulling a space for her to hop inside.

Tears dripped down her cheeks, while she held her breath and anger as she walked to the room.

Staring at the innocent boy in front of her, she made sure to pack everything she had, plus the toy he bought for her.

Evelyn walked out of the room, as she tried to strode out of the house.

"Please, Evelyn..." Lucas tried to plead, but Lucy pointed at him with a gun, her hands tightly.

Evelyn glanced at her with hatred, Lucas stared at the angry eyes he saw.

Nothing was going to make it right; he wished for wealth and power, and now he had gotten it.

"Let's hear it; at least my parents have accepted our relationship," Lucy said as she warned him with a smooth tone.

Placing her hands around his shoulder while they sat down to watch a movie.

Evelyn moved out of the apartment, her eyes running over where next to go. But immediately, her head pulled out an idea, as she rushed to meet her only brother.

Being an orphan had dealt with her, her eyes fetched into his address on her phone. While she rushed to order a taxi, just a minute late could turn her crazy.

Throughout the driving journey, Evelyn's mind couldn't get off as she cried her eyes out. Making the driver give her a bunch of advice and put her in a better mood.

"Finally", Evelyn said as she thanked the driver before heading to her brother's apartment.

Evelyn stared at the Tall 5-storey building in front of her, a hill city, as she moved inside straight to her brother's apartment.

Immediately, Evelyn jumped up in fear as her hands scratched on the floor. Making her scream in pain, while she stared at the car with anger.

"What the hell is wrong with you?" Evelyn yelled out, with her last strength as she tried getting up but got pulled down in pain.

"Watch your legs, you lady" A man pulled down from his car, with his black suit and a blue shoe, and his black eyes glasses darker to kill.

"Are you serious right now?, you all are the same, Men can't be trusted" Evelyn yelled out her pained voice, as she held her hands in pain.

"Excuse me?" Before Evelyn could finish hearing his voice, her wrist got pulled over.
