VICTORIA’S POV.
[Court session in progress]
My eyes are killing me right now, same goes for my head. I have a terrible headache, so much for not shutting my eyes once throughout the night till this morning. My legs are doing something similar, I think they are numb and whether I win or lose today, I feel like I am going to pass out.
I clench my hands as everyone takes their rightful place in the court and I am being led in by two officials. As soon as I am left to stand on my own, I search for Cara and Niall with my eyes and as soon as I spot them I let out a sigh of relief and Niall gives me a smile to which I return with a small one.
In the past, I have been a very good defense lawyer and I have saved many innocent people from being called guilty. So today, for the umpteenth time I
