I made my way to Ashton’s house, but when I knocked, he wasn’t there. Instead, I found myself face-to-face with Jamul. "Sorry, he’s out," Jamul said, and then added, "Why don’t you come in and wait? I have a really comfortable bed you could use." I felt desperate as I replied, tears threatening to spill, "Can you please not be creepy right now? I can't handle your obsessive behavior tonight. I'll finally snap and kill you" Jamul looked genuinely concerned as he relented, saying, "Okay, you can wait on the couch." I warned him firmly, "If you so much as touch me right now, I swear I’ll rip you apart." Taking my threat seriously, he promised, "I won’t try anything, you have my word." I let out a sniff and stepped inside, while Jamul cleared some papers off the couch for me to sit
