CHAPTER 2

After introducing each other to the class the boys took the only available empty seats which was at the back of Lily. After they took their seats the teacher resumed from where he left off before being interrupted by the headmaster.Lily listened attentively even if she continued gazing out the window.When the teacher turns his back to the class,Olivia and her group of bullies shoots /throws spitballs at her .But through all this, Lily kept quiet and gently removing the spitballs from wherever they landed on her .A while later Olivia and her group of bullies stopped since they noticed that what they were doing wasn't getting any reaction from Lily.

Rrinnnnnggggg!(the bell for recess rang sounding across the hallway into the classroom).Students started rushing out of the class to get to the cafeteria early.Before the food runs out .Lily had just finished packing her books into her locker and headed to the cafeteria,she got in line with the others and when it was her turn she was given a tray of food which contained spaghetti,a cocacola drink and pudding. As lily was busy eating and watching everyone interacting with each other ,looking up she saw the quad boys walking towards her sitting next to her .Jason spoke up for them asking "are these seats taken?"(with a smirk on his face)."As u can see no one is sitting there" she replied coldly. They took there seats and quietly started eating. The air of silence around them was awkward ,but Jason decided to break it by starting a convo."The food is good don't you think?"he said ."Yeah I guess ?" she said. "You are lily right?"Jackson asked. "Yh how did u know?" she asked surprisingly. "through the school files"he answered. "Am Jackson by the way" stretching is hand for an hand shake. lily did accept it.

After that lily and the boys started to get to know each others but then James asked a question that made all of them silent. "why did u get bullied by the whole school especially that Olivia girl ".As he asked that question, the smile was wiped off her face slowly turning into a frown .The boys noticed this and looked at each other with a quizzical look ,then looked back at her with the same look."its ok if you don't want to tell us anything ".Devin said " You can tell us when you're ready-" Jackson was saying before he was cut off by Lily.

"A few years ago after our freshman year,Olivia and I were bestfriends. We did everything together, and we were inseparable. Later,Olivia started to change,going to parties and bringing some friends to our dorm to party,she had a boyfriend and her grades started dropping. During one of her parties,her boyfriend tried to kiss me and get me on his bed. He pinned me to the wall and I could smell that he was drunk so I tried to get out of the situation. Olivia entered and saw us in a very compromised position."

"Wow...don't worry go on"Jackson said. She nodded and continued.

"I tried to explain but she wouldn't listen so that same day,she claimed I was no longer her friend and told me that I was going to regret it. A few days after,she told the whole school that I tried to snatch her boyfriend by seducing and sleeping with him. You know Dave right?"

"Oh yes. The school's playboy" James replied and smirked.

"He openly asked me out in front of the school on a sports day and I guess most of the girls started hating on me secretly. But after Olivia lied to them about the issue with her boyfriend, the whole school started to bully me and most people would just laugh and sneer while watching me get bullied by Olivia and her group." I shrugged as I finished explaining what really happened.

"So why didn't the guy help clear what really happened between you guys?" Devin asked.

"I really don't know cause he didn't bother to clear the air at all" Nobody said any other thing and the table went silent like everybody was drowning in their individual thoughts.
