Lucy finished her presentation for the new season of ‘Med Cuisine’ and looked around the table at the blank faces of the board members of UKTV. She secured a lock of her hair behind one ear, smiling hopefully at them. Some of them returned the smile politely.
“Well, thank you for your interesting ideas Ms. Hernandez. We agree that the show needs a bit of a lift, a new title; a new concept. We may take some of your ideas on board, but what we mostly need is a fresh face,” the director said, and Lucy’s energy levels went into free fall.
