He went to school earlier than usual, not minding the fact that he slept shortly. He wanted to confront her and make her explain her sudden disappearance that made him lose sleep even more. He waited while leaning on the side of a car with his leg crossing the other. He looks at his wrist watch from time to time. He is in the parking lot of the central building, the biggest and the tallest in the whole academy. Every building has it's own parking lot for students and academy personnel of specific course. That way, they don't have to walk very far. One building corresponds to one course. In Leij Academy, there are 20 buildings for the 20 courses they offer. What makes this academy different from the rest of the world is its special course called general studies. It's a kind of course where you study all the courses. It can be an endless course depending on the student. They should finish at least 7 years of this course, take the final exam and reach a certain average required by the academy to be able to obtain a certificate of passing should they want to stop studying. By doing so, they will be able to graduate and enter almost any kind of professional job. It is extremely difficult and challenging but worth trying. This is Ralph's course, so with Teague. They are on their third year. 10, 20, 30, 40 minutes have passed and finally, she arrived. Ralph straightened upon seeing her and waited for her to get close. "Hey." he called her attention. She looked at the voice's owner. "Oh, hi.", she smiled lightly. "Let's talk." he didn't wait for her answer and just grabbed her wrist and pulled her to a tree nearby. Though a little shocked, Teague let herself be dragged and followed willingly. She already had an idea what will they're going to talk about. He let go of her and went straight to the point. "You just disappeared earlier at dawn. Where did you go?" "Home." she answered briefly. "How did you go that fast? We were just chatting then suddenly you're gone." She looked down and sighed. Should she tell him? This might be the perfect time so she'll gonna give it a try. "Well, I'm going to tell you but, promise me you won't freak out and you will not tell anybody." she replied. She wanted assurance from this guy. "Okay." he frowned. He suddenly feel skeptical. "I flew." His frown deepened. "What did you say?" "I flew. I have abilities that you humans called powers. I can fly in light speed because I'm a star." She was... What?! Did this girl just told him she's a star?? He looked at her carefully. She looks normal and fine. No traces of insanity. He was petrified. "Please don't tell anyone okay?" "Y...you're a star?" did he hear it right? Is this girl trying to prank him again? She nodded with all sincerity. "A star? That big ball of gas that lights the night skies?" he wasn't sure which star is she referring to, the celestial body or a celebrity. "Yes. But we're different kind of stars." she's beginning to feel hopeful. She's not expecting Ralph would be convinced easily. He can feel his rage surging but for the last time, he's going to hold it in and ask her nicely one more time. He sighed and looked at her solemnly. "Enough of the pranks and messing around. Can't you seriously answer me? How did you disappear so fast?" "I already told you, I can travel in light speed because I'm a star." she answered with all honesty. The hope she felt a while ago was quickly dissipating. He cannot believe what he's hearing. No, maybe he's dreaming. The first stranger he's gotten comfortable with is... Not on her right mind. After finally deciding to let down his guard to someone whom he thought would understand him is here, making a fool out of him. Thinking of that, he lost his control and unleashed his anger. "You're a lunatic!!" he yelled, startling her. "I thought you're okay. I thought I was wrong for being rude to you. I thought you can be a good friend but you are not!" he added. "But it's true. I'm a star." she started to panic. Her hopefulness long gone. "Goodness! You want me to believe in that stupid s**t?!" he is disheartened for expecting a good friendship from her. He can't believe himself for falling into her insanity. She wasn't able to answer. "You're deranged. You shouldn't be in here too. Do you know what's the best place for you? In a mental asylum!" he started walking away. "Believe me, it's the truth!" she tried to chase him. "Don't talk to me from now on or I'll call 818 for suspected substance abuse!" he looked away from her after talking and ran like he was avoiding a plague. (818 is Leij's emergency hotline) She stopped walking and took a deep breath. Obviously, her timing isn't right. His reaction is understandable. Who would believe her being a star? Now he closed his door for her. The blossoming friendship has ended. What is she going to do to tame this evasive man again? She has a lot of important things to say, to reveal to him. She pondered for a moment. She must do something to prove that she is indeed a star. She must find the right time and place for that. But for now, she must think of a way to appease the enraged boy who thinks she's out of her mind. Just as she was about to continue walking, a feminine voice from behind interrupted her. "Seems like someone's been rejected." She turned around to see who is the woman. It is Carrice. "No. He didn't reject me. You misunderstood the scene." she answered softly and politely. Carrice put on a harmless but scheming smile. "You don't have to deny. It's a part of life anyways." She looked at her bitchy assmate oops, she means classmate and walked closer. "I told you, I wasn't chasing him because of that." "If you say so." she shrugged. "I can understand you since it's embarrassing to admit rejection." 'You know it's embarrassing but you did not hesitate to reject him while you're good-for-nothing friends standby and watch?' she wanted to say. She was there the day Ralph gathered all his courage and bravely confessed his feelings for Carrice only to be rejected. She didn't even consider his feelings and just said no infront of her airheaded friends resulting to them laughing and mocking the third prince whom Teague had been guarding since he was little. "What? Can't say anything?" "I was planning to but got distracted with a foul smell coming from there." she pointed at Carrice's groin. "What the hell did you say?!" her eyes became big after hearing Teague's words. The nerve of this b***h to humiliate her in her private part! But even though she knew it wasn't true, she still got conscious and wanted to go to the comfort room to check herself. Instead of answering, she smiled goofily at her and ran. "Oh, so you think you can run from me huh?" her eyebrow raised as she watches the weird girl with a tacky blue hair run. Her eyes became fierce. "Let the war begin..."
