The one mercy we could find in Splinter-Aldo revealing himself when he did was that we hadn’t told him the plan to invade the Sliver Warehouse. He knew we knew about it, and he probably knew that we would try to mount a rescue, but he didn’t know when. It wasn’t much, but it was all we had.
It was hard to find anything to hold on to at this moment.
We waited until nightfall for the cover of darkness. Of course, that meant they would also have the cover of darkness, but there was no way we could go in during the day, with the cleanup of the gym already beginning.
So we spent our time gathering our resources and trying not to go crazy. Using some tarps and tape, we put a temporary patch on the wall that Splinter-Craven had burst through. The neighbors
