I’m so happy for Johann and Lotte, but I’m also sad, because this is the end of the War Girls series. It was originally planned as a three-book series about three German sisters and their personal struggles during the height of World War Two.
Endless Ordeal is book #10, or #12 if you count the prequel and the spin-off Reluctant Informer, and it’s time for something new.

This was such a momentous time not only in German history, but also for the entire world. The blockade and airlift cemented the rift between the Allied powers and marked the official start of the Cold War.
