A place where everybody must be pretty, shiny, brave, smart, and worthy of praises. A place where perfection is a must. A place where you need to be brave but keep quite. Because if you don’t, you might fall.
I am not all of these things, though one thing is for sure. I will not fall.
Despite all the magnificent palaces, shiny chandeliers, elegant ball gowns, and smiling faces, each royal is just like anybody else. Always watching with sharp eyes, eyeing for your weaknesses, and then attacks you.
But the thing is, although I’m just a bastard prince, I am still a royal. Just like the others, I’m watching with sharp eyes and always ready to attack.

Prince Erlan McKinley belongs to the royal family ruling the land of the wolves. His life since his birth has been miserable under the hands of Empress Evaline Ardolf, whom his father married just because of some political gains. The emperor and the empress has a son, Prince Jonah, who is Prince Erlan’s rival to the throne by birth. Due to Evaline’s schemes, Prince Erlan was forced to marry a lady from a less powerful and less wealthy family. She thought that letting him marry a poor girl with insignificant reputation will hinder the prince from making connection with a powerful political family through marriage. But who would have thought that the girl who was supposed to be a disadvantage to the prince will be the very reason he will want to succeed and inherit the throne?
