*Derrick POV* The way I am cowering to her makes me feel as if I am weak. However, it's good to see her developing some strength in her ability to stand up to me. I knew that I was in the wrong this time, and I meant it when I told her that I would make up for every single bad thing I had done to her. First, I needed to get well. Not just for me, but for us. She admitted just how hurt and angry she was, and before, she would have shrugged it off and held all of that in just so she didn't anger me. It made me happy that she didn't do that this time. "Kat, don't let go yet, please. I will handle Heidi, but I can't do this without you. I'm a f**k up. I know this. Just give me a chance to make it right. I won't let you down," I said. She slowly shook her head and looked me in the eyes.
