She doesn't believe my feelings are genuine. She thinks I care out of pity, and that truly hurts. I have never in my whole life allowed a girl to get under my skin and touch my heart the way Katrina has.
Call it fate, destiny or what have you, but I have found myself in a situation where she has a hold of my heart completely. Yet, she doesn't feel that my feelings for her are true.
I guess I can understand her doubts, she hasn't had the easiest life when it comes to people showing her genuine love. I also assumed that I had been showing her exactly how true my feelings are this whole time. However, when I stop and think about it, I can see that she would think it was all out of pity.
