It's been a week since the shooting. Kat has stirred, but is still unconscious. It's probably for the best, because if she was awake, I know she would be in pain.
She has undergone 3 surgeries to repair damage caused by the bullet. The first was to remove the bullet itself, and repair damage it had caused to her stomach. The second was to fix internal bleeding, and the last was to fix something they missed the first time.
Dad and Amber told them that they had better make sure that they got it all this time. Kat was a small girl, and the continuous surgeries weren't good for her body.
