*Derrick POV* I cannot wait to get out of this small hick town. Knoxville may be a lot of things, but this place gives a whole new meaning to dysfunction. As soon as the police left, I rushed inside to make sure Katrina and Charlie were alright. Her friend Amber just had to follow behind me, and made it known that she didn't like me much. I turned to face her and made sure she heard what I was saying. "Listen, you don't have to like me. I don't much like your attitude towards her either. However, when we are around her, we will pretend to be best buddies. Do you hear me? She has been through enough bullshit in her life, and I won't keep the people she cares about the most away from her. Whether I like them or not is irrelevant. It's her happiness that matters, and I'm not going anywhere
