I can't believe she agreed to be my girl. At least not so easily. She had been pretty cautious about everything since we met, and I was pretty sure she wouldn't agree to be with me until she spoke with Seth. She had an undying loyalty to him, and I would be lying if I said it didn't irk me a little bit.
Once dad gave us our room assignments, I was not pleased. I didn't want her rooming with two other men who were practically strangers to her. I knew she wouldn't be comfortable, and I damn sure wasn't.
I was beyond happy when she spoke up about not liking the arrangement, and even if dad had put her in the room with her and Charlie, I would have been fine. However, he thankfully put me in with her.
