"Assistant... Jolie." Elena repeated the name twice, then chuckled. "What a lovely name."
Jolie pouted. "Mr. Cross said the same thing. He even said you'd laugh when you heard it."
'He…' Elena's smile faded as she recalled the question that had been lingering in her mind. 'Should I leave any room for their future? Perhaps a little possibility wouldn't hurt.' Reaching this conclusion, her mood lightened considerably. "Alright, Jolie, why don't you give me an introduction to the new company?"
"Certainly!" Jolie's face lit up. "Ms. Blackwood, if you don't mind me saying, you're the first boss who hasn't called me 'Little Jolie'."
