It was already two in the afternoon after we had snuck out of Sullivan's residence. Sage just told her parents that she was gonna hang out with the two of her best friends, not mentioning me tagging along with them so they easily let her go. Flora was skeptical though and reminded her not to get in trouble. I guessed Ava didn't tell her that I was in their house last night.
Once we pulled over at the lot of the Bellámore campground, I instantly spotted Vance and Esther nearby. The four of us got out of the car and walked towards them. My hand reflexively grabbed Sage's hand, warming her up alongside the cold air of the autumn weather.
"Hey, Sage... I see that you're now joining our little weird party," Vance exclaimed, giving her a big embrace once again
