Once I shut my locker close, I saw the captain of the cheerleading squad coming at me. Primrose Russel was eager to convince me to try out but unfortunately, I didn't have time to do unnecessary things as of now. I sincerely wanted to join because cheerleading distracted me before in a good sense but Sage had become my distraction nowadays——in so many ways.
When Primrose halted inches away from me, her lips twisted in a toothless smile. "So tryout is gonna start any minute. And I've come here to guide you there which is rare of me, actually. I'm going to admit it, Irvine. As a former co-captain before, you're going to be a good addition to my team and yes, I do my research."
I lifted my brow, amused that she'd done her assignment so well——not that well though.
