Chapter 46 - Jane
“See you tomorrow Miss Jane.” I wave at Silvia as I head out the kitchen munching on some delicate pastry that she gave me. Conversing with everyone has gotten much easier and it’s to the point where I automatically switch my language ability on. And I don’t get tired channeling it anymore. I go back up to my room, waving at Maria on my way by. She looks up from the guest she is helping and shakes her head in mock disappointment, then gives me a wink and waves back. After almost a week here, she has given up chastising me for leaving my room when she realized I wasn’t going to leave the building. I think she is worried about my health.
