How did it end up so wrong? Lurenri is missing or dead. Zarelmun has gone rogue. Kadis was released from the Divine Wars sanctions and intel reports he’s taken over Helis. And now Jane has disappeared. After the thumping in the bathroom, Jane shouted that she dropped something. I should have made her open the door. I should have checked. We both should have. I glance over at Zean who has fallen asleep at the desk in exhastion. We stayed in her room here in Axier, just in case she came back.
