Sona grabbed the pan and flipped the egg in it, she waited until it turned brown then put off the gas and added the egg to the bacon and packed it.

“Hey hurry up” someone roared out and she hurriedly grabbed a diet coke can and the food and put it on the fat man table

“Your food sir” she said curtly, she made to move but he grabbed her waist and pull her closer,

“Want to spend the night” he whispered, Sona ripped herself off,

“Don't touch me” she growled, venom dripping from her voice and the man backed away as Sona walked away she heard him say ‘Thought I saw her eyes flash yellow’ but that was not Sona concern, she stormed up to Jane, “Tell your customers, to stop groping me, can't one stay a minute without someone grabbing my ass” Sona yelled, Jane quickly left her paperwork,

“Oh dear, I am sorry”

“It's okay Ms Jane, I should be sorry, I yelled at you” Sona straightened her apron and glanced at her watch: Eleven-thirty, she was done for today, “Umm I guess i'm done Ms Jane” Sona said.

“Jane”

“Okay! Jane, I want to see my little sister, I am going home now” Sona said and waved Jane away, she left the restaurant and decided to board a bus she didn't want experiences with strange things stalking her, like last night after Ethan left.

The low growl came again and Sona picked up an old baseball bat and readied it, Sona didn't know how but her eyes could see everything in the pitch dark alley, her ears increased every sound around and the baseball bat felt right in her hands, but nothing came at her as if sensing her readiness to fight, she exhaled in relief and rushed out of the alley, the bat still in her hand and again she failed to notice the white fur that spread on her arms when she was ready to fight.

The bus was small with scowling people who had a hectic day at the office or wherever they worked. She missed Ethan but he was busy at the studio. There was this big show coming up and he was performing. The bus stopped, she hopped down and it sped away like it couldn't wait to get rid of her, she stepped into her home and met Mia doing her homework and she ruffled her head as she walked past.

“Welcome Sona” she greeted, “I am hungry”

Sona smile sadly, Mia was always hungry by the time she came home, she wished she could have given her something to eat before leaving for the restaurant, she was hungry too, working at a restaurant do not mean she gets the chance to eat

“Hey” Mia yelled “Your eyes are yellow”

“What!” Sona roared, she whipped around and stared at the mirror, sure there was her blond white hair and all her features but yellow instead of brown eyes stared back at her

Sona screamed and Mia ran over, Sona moved to punch the mirror but Mia held her back then suddenly let go, “Sis, your arms” she yelled and Sona watched as white fur started erupting on her arms, she closed her eyes.

Please stop, please stop she chanted inwardly and opened her eyes, her arms were back to normal and she stared at the mirror, her brown eyes stared back at her.

“What the hell was that” Mia exclaimed and Sona frowned at her, “No cursing here” she said but Mia paid no attention to her chidings

“You just half phased” Mia stated, Sona stared at her confused,

“What's that” Sona asked as Mia stared at her like a laboratory rat to be experimented on

“You half-transformed” Mia explained, she poked Sona’s arm, “White fur erupted from your arms Sona”

“I know, don't remind me” Sona snapped, Mia raised a brow and circled Sona,

“Stop that” Sona warned but Mia paid her no heed

“Just like in the movies”

“HEY!” Sona screamed and Mia stopped rambling to herself, “No one should hear about this, okay?”

“What of Uncle Ethan?” Mia asked

Sona paused, “No one, please” Mia nodded and placed a hand over her sister’s, “I love you Sona, even if you turn to a rat” she said grinning and Sona poked her in the belly

“Should I make Apple pie” Sona asked and Mia nodded and dived into her homework, though Sona saw her scribble the word ‘werewolf’ down and she frowned, what was happening to her was almost relating to her dreams. she wished all this could all go away and wished it never happened, she didn't know why she of all people could this be happening to, she shrugged and grabbed the ingredients to prepare their meal, when she was done, she walked to Mia side and gave her the plate with the apple pie, Mia inhaled and tore a streak out the pie and munched happily, “Hmmm good as always sis” Mia muttered and shifted a paper to Sona, on the paper was a picture of Sona mid-shift, Sona marveled at how exactly Mia drew her picture.

“Is this your homework” Sona asked, Mia raised a brow and stared at Sona skeptically

“Yup” Mia answered

“Mia!” Sona exclaimed, “This can't be your homework”

“Jeez Sona, calm down, am done with homework girl, just wanted to do some investigation what if I have these characteristics you just displayed” Mia replied and snatched Sona’s phone,

“Give me a moment before you bawl” she vigorously typed then scribbled something on a new notepad she had titled, ‘Wolfie Sis’ Sona scowled when did Mia write that, sometimes Mia was as stubborn as she was. “So do you smell things from a mile away Sona” Mia asked and Sona glared at her,

“ Go to sleep Mia” she said, her voice cold. Mia nodded quietly and handed her back the phone and stormed off, Sona felt bad shunning her like that but she had to let Mia stop, all those talk of werewolves was giving Sona a bad feeling, like something big was going to happen, Sona walked into the bedroom and kissed Mia forehead and crashed into the bed, she just hoped she had no crazy dreams tonight but how wrong she was, as soon as she closed her eyes the dreams came.

Sona walked briskly in the forest, this time she was human, the forest was dark and the moon has not risen yet, she had no problem seeing in the dark, her eyes had turned yellow and she pushed away shrubs and twigs with an unusual strength, she did not know what she was looking for, she just followed her senses until she came to a clearing and she stopped and howled, and seconds later howls rang back, the moon has risen out now in its full glory and Sona howled again as fur started erupting from her body, you could hear the snapping and breaking of bones, her clothes ripped and tore and soon a white wolf stood in her place, the trees swayed as if dancing in joy and soon other wolves burst out into the clearing all of them black and none of them had white fur like she did, she opened her mouth and howled again, one by one they joined her, then bowed low, only one did not, it was larger than the others and it's fur was darker, even as a wolf it had insane handsome features, it or should it be he, stared at Sona hard, his yellow eyes turned different colors, even a deep red, and Sona could not help but look away, staring too much at those red eyes made her head hurt, the wolf trotted forward and others let it pass, they bowed at he too as he passed, he stopped in front of Sona, then he circled her slowly and howled, an howl so touching that Sona did not know when she joined in.

Sona shot up from the bed gasping, the damn dreams, they just kept coming as if it was giving a hint at something, was she really a werewolf? She needed to find out before these dreams drove her crazy, she needed a PC urgently, and she couldn't afford one, Ethan had many, she called Ethan and he picked at the first ring.

“What's up Sona” his voice was groggy like he just woke up from sleep, Sona felt bad waking him but she needed this.

“Umm, Ethan, got a spare laptop” she asked and he chuckled, “You should have asked earlier Sona, I have got many, I will bring you two now”

“It is……….” I checked my phone screen, “It is four in the morning Ethan, that's dangerous and I didn't ask for two”

“I know, Sona, it's dangerous but I really want to know what prompt you to call me this early we could crack it together as for the second PC, give to Mia” he said

“You are spoiling her, Ethan”

“Jealous?” he teased.

“You wish, jerk, thanks anyway man” Sona said and could not keep the smile that formed on her lips.

“Anytime Sona,” the line went dead and Sona exhaled in relief then frowned. Ethan said he was coming over to solve what was bothering her, could she really tell Ethan what was really happening to her?
