Kayla's pov

I grabbed a few luggage and assembled them inside the trunk of my car, Kiara, Caleb and Kyle all sat at the back side. Anxiously waiting for me while Collins helped me assembled everything.

Six years!

Six years since I almost lost my life and that of my triplets to the hands of Elena, but the NELNITE had found me. And accepting that call has been the best thing that has happened in my life.

Now I was the head of the NELNITE, mastered all sorts of medicine and safe to say I had become so skilled in it that I have been invited to speak at Blood stone pack.

This same pack that had cast me away without finding out the truth.

Once I shut the trunk, I turn to Collins who was staring at me the way a father would to his child.

“You should be back as soon as the seminar is over. You know this place can't function properly without you”

“You don't have to worry about anything, I will be back as soon as possible”

“Are you ready?” He furrowed his brows, like he was trying to stare into my soul as he asked the question.

“Ready for what?”

“Don't play dumb with me Kayla, you know exactly what I am talking about, he doesn't know you are doctor K. This will come as a shock to him, are you ready to face him?”

I lowered my head, fought the pain, the battles and the nightmare for six years, it wasn't an easy one for me.

I buried all my time in my work and my kids, now I knew I couldn't be ever ready to face him, but I was stronger now.

“Yes. Alpha Damon is all in the past. I am only attending because of the impact it has on us, nothing more”

“You sure?” He smiled sternly but I didn't give him a response, instead I just walks over to the car where the triplets were waiting.

Since I informed them about the trip to my birth pack, they had all been so eager to go, especially since I told them stories about my childhood.

I sat at the passenger seat while Jack tugged his seatbelt and speed off.

By the time we arrived at the hotel booked for me by my secretary at blood stone pack, the triplets were all asleep.

Kate, my secretary stood outside and it was clear she had been waiting for me. “Welcome ma!” She greeted with a warm smile but exhausting smile. She left since two days, just to make sure that everything was ready prior to my arrival.

I opened the car door and stepped out of the car. “The Alpha feels so honoured to have someone of your status here. He booked the most luxury presidential suit for you and ask that you should inform him if there is anything you would be needing during your stay here”

She explained as she grabbed the bag from me, I rolled my eyes after listening to everything he had just said.

If only he knew that it was the same girl he had banished and asked not to ever return, then he wouldn't be so polite.

“You should go in ma, I will get the kids” Kate spoke in her usual polite tone. She handed the key card to me, I stared at it and it was 622.

Even as I walked through the elevator, my mind couldn't stop racing. For six years, k had trained so hard so as to be ready, ready for the day when I can finally get my revenge.

The image of that day never left my memory, the way my dad and step mom had all stared at me like I was a disgrace, the way Damon looked heart broken and never gave me a chance to explain.

Then that cruel image of Elena smile, she was so pleased as she watched them beat me up, no doubt that to her, I had bleed to death that day in the woods, but what was coming to her, was something she would least expect.

The revenge is going to be slow, so slow they would never see it coming as I take them down from inside.

I came to a halt in front of room 622 and slot the card inside before stepping in. There was some male clothes carelessly placed on the bed.

A white shirt and a jean trouser, slowly, I could hear the sound of shower from the bathroom. I took a step backwards, my chest pounding rapidly in fright.

Someone was here but even though whoever it was came to hurt me, they wouldn't dare take a shower.

With that thought, I let out a deep breath and started walking towards the bathroom but made sure I tiptoed, that way the sound of my footsteps couldn't be heard.

But just as I stood in front of the bathroom, the shower stopped running and right there a male figure stepped out.

He was totally naked, his pale skin was alluring, his chest was broad as he was so tall, he was so hairy in his chest and some tattoos and scars around his chest.

I knew this was the moment when I should have pulled my gaze away, but I couldn't, as my gaze landed beneath his two legs, I froze, my heart stopped beating staring at the huge figure before me.

“Kayla!” He called out, a sudden amusing frown appeared on his face, and that was the moment when my eyes locked with his.

Alpha Damon!

Why the hell was he naked in my room.
