As soon as I stop at the hotel, I quickly get out of the car and make my way to Carina's side. She passed out about halfway to the hotel and five meters from the hotel she started groaning. I open her door and quickly pick her up again before I carry her to the elevator, only to stop as I get to the door and then head for the stairs. I know she is asleep, but the last thing I need is for her to wake up to find herself in just another form of a nightmare. I take the stairs two at a time, my legs burning as I reach the top floor. I walk to her door, knowing she would rather want a woman's touch right now. I knock on the door, refusing to let her go before I get her safely inside. Shay opens the door, her eyes going wide when she sees Carina passed out in my arms.
