Where do I go from here?

Thursday, Sept 17 th 10 am

"Say, how old are the kids anyway?" Nate asked as he watched the kids playing with toy cars on the floor from his seat in the kitchen.

"Terran is four already while Flarena is almost two" Daniel said as he flipped trhough a text book he was sharing with Chris at the kitchen island.

"Shes been caring for them for a long time, why didn't she run away and just leave them?" Cole remarked also sitting at the Island as his mother, father, along side the three other boys glared at him.

His comment also made the children start crying sobbing saying things like "Mommy doesn't want us?" to which Chris and Daniel were already trying to calm them by holding and rocking them.

"Mommy will not leave you unless" Pyronja spoke and Tarren finished her sentance with "Unless the duty to usurp the throne becomes mine from you"

"What does that mean?" Alpha Aldrian asked to which he got a stare of emptyness from all three of them even the baby.

"I am sorry Sir Alpha Aldrian I shall be leaveing right away" With that Pyronja bowed deeply and grabbed both children and began heading to the door.

POV: Pyronja

I must get out of here quickly, this Alpha and his son want nothing to do with me.

"No you will be staying here from now on, so come to my office my wife can watch the kids while we figure out how we are going to deal with this" Alpha Aldrian began walking

"My children stay with me" I will not sepreate from them here

"Fine Come on" Alpha Aldrian sounded tired from the situation

The Alphas office is cozy with a huge wodden desk that faces 3 couches set up in a U-shape with 2 couches and a coffee table on the otherside of the room, and the walls are linned with bookshelfs full of trinkets and books. A huge window sits on the short end of the rectangler room near the 2 couches. I like the feel of this room, I go to sit between Chris and Daniel on the one couch in front of the big desk but on the side of the U-shape.

"Why don't you sit here?" Nate was looking at me patting the spot beside him, as he and Cole sat directly in front the the wooden desk. Their mother and other girl sat on the last couch.

"I don't enjoy being near Cole and you look just like him, so no thank you Sir Alpha Nate" I turned towards Alpha Aldrian who was now looking at me from the desk "shall we begin?" I want this over fast, I feel sore, tried, and very cranky.

"Alright first, we need to find you a room you can't continue to all five sleep in one bed" Alpha Aldrian looks as if he expects me to argue this point, which I don't plan to I can always just crawl into their bed after hours.

"Thats fine, but I won't be staying here anyway" I smile as Flarena giggles in my lap from a face Terran is making at here.

"I'm sorry but I will not be allowing you to leave, I have already filled out the paperwork and it has been approved that you will offically be under this packs legal authority until you are no longer a minor, I pulled alot of strings and favors for this so you legally have no where else to go that appartment you had lined up has been canncelled as well" He thinks he won

"And the cabin?" I ask, my mothers family owns a cabin far away to which I have legal claim to and can always run to.

"Cabin...." With a heavy sigh he put his head in his hands

"Why do you want me here so badly? I can make Chris and Daniel stay" I feel bad hes so down

"Its hard to explain"

"I can reject your sons now, if it makes it easier but I was under the assumption they prefer to do it themselves " I said calmly

"NO NO NO " Both Nate and Cole stood up Nate moves towards me and and picks up Daniel to replace him on the couch to which Chris laughed and patted his lap for Daniel to sit on. Instead Daniel sat on the floor beside Terran infront of us.

"What are you doing" I ask as I am slightly irritated about how he just grabbed Daniel so I added "What gives you the right to just pick up someone elses mate and take his spot?"

"I'm sure Chris laughing ment he found it funny so I'm fine on that front, and I will not be letting you out of my sight now nor will I let you reject me because of Cole being an idiot." His grin is wide and Chris is still laughing as he pats Daniels head

"I have lost my scolarship as it calls for perfect attendance and a grade average of 95% each semester, so you will not be able to keep your eye on me, as I will be going else ware to school. However, I wont reject either of you as the mate pull does not affect me at all" I also give Daniels head a pat which makes him sulk more and Chris laugh harder

"You are offically an orphan of this pack as my dad said don't you know what that means?" Nates s**t eating grin pisses me off

I don't answer just look at his dad behind the desk who also wears the same s**t eating grin which prompts me to speak "At least I know where he gets his s**t eating grin" To which I immediatly pale and flinch as I just insulted the Alpha

In a split second everyone is laughing "Yes they get it from their dad for sure" Luna Tina said

I open my eyes slowly and Nate looks sad at my reaction

"The pack pays for any minor to go to Mystic school if there parents can not afford it, and has grants for college and university at mystic as well" Alpha Aldrian is serious

"I'll leave once I finish highschool I have something I must do, If you really want me to stay here I will and I am grateful, what chores or jobs would you like me to do?" I don't care what he wants me to do Mystic is such a good school I can getinto any school or entry level job I want accross this side of the world.

"You'll be expected to keep your area clean, bring your laundry down to the laundry room, and rotate with other member which include my sons on kitchen, garden, and laundry duties. You are in school so your rotations will be on weekends usually, and you can decide if you want to pick up weekly shifts but nothing until you are fully healed." He stretched and continued

Thursday September 17th 6pm

POV:third party

After nearly 8 hours of talking with only water and bathroom breaks Pyronjas living arangements were laid out.

Firstly she would have an apartment style living accomodation ment for the next beta and his family, which Chris and Daniel had not wanted yet. However, Pyronja refused to live in the four bedroom area alone so one room will be Cole and Nates, one for Chris and Daniel, one for the children and Pyronja, while the last one she asked for as a small study if possible but instead Nate asked for Remaa to have it saying another girl might help her. Pyronja agreed, readily to this. All the rooms except for the master which was given to Pyronja as it has a sepreate bathroom, were the same size and could easily fit queen bedroom sets, though the Alpha twins would have to share a bed to which they didn't mind. Everyone agreed to this living arrangement after many hours of fighting as everyone involed are very stuborn. Everyone will continue school, everyone will be trained as per pack rules, and everyone will do chore duties. Pyronja will have time off to heal only if she wants it, as she did not want to be held back. Another long arugument led to this being agreed to along side that the kids will still be nannied by the older women they called Auntie, as well as they continue to go there saturday mornings. As long as Cole, Nate, and Remaa could also go, and the first vistit tomorrow before school Alpha Aldrian and Luna Tina would also go to meet this women.

POV: Pyronja

"Is that all? The kids and I are hungry" I asked as my babies wined

"One more thing, you have to spend time with my boys, it can be in common areas and with other people but it has to be outside of madated time like training, school, and chore rotations please don't fight me on this as well" I can tell Alpha aldrian is over this.

"Okay, but if Sir Alpha Cole calls me w***e I reserve the right to only spend time with Alpha Nate" I don't like being called a w***e so I hope this is agreeed to

"Reasonable, if either of my sons do something to irritate you in such a manner let me know, and sons if she refuses to spend any time with you let me know, If we all agree lets go eat dinner should be being served now" Alpha Alrian got up and left leaving Cole sputtering as the rest of us followed seemenly in agreeance.

Once we got downstairs I was taken past the small kitchen and dinning area through a lobby to which I reconized the front door, to a huge mess hall through a few coradoors we past what looked like a ball room on the way. "you live here? It's so pretty" I whisper to Chris who is closest to me and Nate behind us replies "This side of the pack house is for the whole pack so most entertainment areas are here aside from the game and tv rooms on the resisdent side"

"Come sit at our table we had them bring highchairs for the children" Luna Tina said

"Okay there is so many people here" I feel unsteady and hand over Flarena to Chris and Daniel already has Terran walking beside him, Luna Tina easily links arms with me and continues chatting away about the different rooms and things in the packhouse which helps a great deal. I am not use to alot of people especially not all looking towards me as I am with all the higher ups of the pack.

Once sat down everyone else gets up to grab food, buffet style as they usually do aparently and although no one waits for the Alphas table to eat, but they do leave it open for the family and betas. I get left behind with the current betas youngest son Hank who is ten and the younger sister of the Alphas Jarine also ten. They just stare at me and before anof us have to talk Chris and Daniel return with food for me, Tarren, and Flarena as well as her bottle. I began feeding the kids.

Everyone else seems so happy and full of life as they eat and yell about random things. By seven everyone but me was done eating i had fed my children first.

"Let me get you something hot to eat" Nate said reaching for my plate, I took it back

"Its fine, I am use to cold food, no worries" I began to eat and Chris began talking to me about a new Manga he found

"Must you always talk about geeky stuff ?" Cole asked

"Chris you are going to let me read this managa right? I'm excited how many volumes are out?" I continue ignoring Cole as Nate hits him for insulting me and his father groans out about this right here is why she wont spend time with you.

"I'm tired can I go to bed?" I ask, Chris guided me to my room to which the children and I quickly fell asleep before 9pm.

POV: Daniel

"Good night everyone" I call after Pyronja and the kids

"She didn't eat much, come to think of it she doesn't eat much at lunch either" Cole said looking at her plate

"She tends to eat little so she doesn't throw up when her step-dad beats her" I have put a bad mood into the air.

I get up, taking our plates to the dish room, and head up to yet another new room to meet my mate for bed to which we fell asleep a little after 9.

Who knows how this will work out, what are we going to do if it doesn't work.
