Chapter twenty five

3733 Words

Dylan I didn’t sleep at all that night. Everyone tried telling me I should get a couple of hours of sleep, especially since the first game of the season is later today, but I didn’t care. The game could go to hell for all I care, she needs me and she will always be a priority. I failed her. I know I did. I kept an eye on her all night but it wasn’t enough. I let her go have fun when I should have stayed with her the entire time. I went and danced with two girls that I grew up with and were friends with in high school, which led her to go to the bar where all of this happened. I knew I f****d up and if I could go back and change everything I would. I felt like I was doing the right thing at the time, but thinking about it more, I wasn't. If it weren’t for me, this wouldn’t have happened.
