Ghost

Three weeks later

Its been about three weeks now since Andrew my brother turned me into a vampire. So the search for our next meal has lead Andrew and I into the forest. I heard someone coming so I hid in a tree and watched closely. It was a werewolf on its own, as The werewolf walked past I watched it as it faced back into human form. He seemed familiar…… it was one of my friends from long ago…. He sniffed the air then looked up and saw me “ Hello? What are you doing up there?” He asked Defensively being unable to fully see me. I decided to jump down “Do you recognize me“ I asked try not to smile. “ No should I?” He asked sarcastically. “ Typical, you’ve all people…” I said kind of annoyed as he stood there with a blank stare. “ It’s me i***t……. You know your best friend” I said trying to get him to think. His eyes lit up at the realization Who I was as he hugged me. “ Wow, I haven’t seen you in a long while“ he said loudly and all of a sudden Andrew pulled him off of me and went on defense. I managed to come Andrew down not to attack but stayed on Guard. “ Who is this“ said David as I was facing Andrew. “ This is Andrew my brother” I told David. “ And who are you?” Andrew asked still on guard. As I explained Who David was they started talking.

Then I heard some thing, it was a snap of a twig from in the distance. I grabbed David and Andrew then use my powers to turn it all invisible. “ Keep quiet“ I whispered as a demon walked right past me. So I burned it alive, then I made us visible again. They both looked a little shocked at my reaction to the demon. But I didn’t care because he was after me of course. So I explained to them that the demon was sent by James to try and find me. After the explanation they were fine and Andrew even smiled realizing I was able to defend myself against demons. Andrew and I continued hunting for our meal as David set against a tree waiting.

Once I was done hunting and had my fill I sat by David wanting to catch up. He told me what was going on in his life so far. He told me how he found out he was an alpha by birth. Telling me he was much stronger than I remember. He continued boasting for a while when Andrew returned and was done hunting for myself. “ So what exactly do you hunt for? There’s no humans around just this forest” he questioned looking at us. At first finding out I was a vampire now he was shocked but quickly became cool with it. “ Andrew has helped me to hunt animals instead of humans” I explained I still drink human blood but I also drink animal blood so I don’t end up killing humans. Andrew and I want to stay under the radar, so if humans go up missing will make it easier for James to find me.

“ I’m feeling restless after my meal“ I decided to tell the guys. They looked at me wondering what I meant. “ I’ll spar with you” said David as he stood up, I was shocked when Andrew didn’t say anything so I figured it should be fine. David and I started to circle each other. I was waiting for him to make the first move when he decided to throw punch my way. I dodged of course and made a move Swift in David’s leg out from under him. He fell to the ground looking up at me with a smirk. He jumped up and continue to spar with me. After a few swings, he landed a punch on me causing me to take a step back. That’s when I kicked him in the stomach which sent him flying. “Dang, that was a strong kick” he said stunned getting up from the ground. He didn't look to injured badly, so with werewolf healing he should be ok.

Andrew walked up to me looking at me with a smile. “ You fought him well, and he’s an alpha werewolf.” He said with a grin “ So, I know all kinds of martial arts” I stated kinda proud of myself of how hard i worked. “ Well then it showed” he quickly stated as David walked up to us. “ You OK?” I asked David “ Yeah I’m fine I heal quick“ he responded quickly “ but those were some good moves i’m glad to know you getting better” he stated. David, Andrew and I continue talking about my martial arts for a while. I I started to notice the sun was starting to set. Looking up at the sky “ The sun starting to set let’s head back to the cabin” I stated to the guys. They both looked at me and Andrew agreed, so we took off back to the cabin. That was where Andrew took me after helping me escape from James. It’s also where I spent the first three weeks after becoming a vampire.
