Chapter 6

Sharia and Ash walked together in the same pace under the rain, Sharia's fingers are touching her clothes with fidget movement. Her eyes was shaking and her cheeks are red. It was comfortable when Ash was together by her side.

“Got it,” she whispered. The corner of her lips lifted, she could barely see Ash's face, only his jaw.

Sharia didn’t know how red Ash face was with such serious looks, his lips tighten, the move they body pressed against with too much closure.

Ash bit his lower lips and shakes his head, he tried his best to be serious the way he was.

“Hey, Cloud!” Ash called at the boy in front of them.

“Yeah?” Cloud responded and turned his head on them.

“Look for the bus stop!” says Ash.

Cloud suddenly grinned. “Your wish is my command our prince.” He bowed his head, “Just please take good care of our princess.” He winked.

Ash clenched his fist. “Damn you, Cloud!”

Cloud couldn't help to laughed at him.

Ash gritted his teeth. “YOU'LL PAY FOR THIS!”

Sharia just laughed at them, while this noisy creature around her had no temper, they we're wild and keep pampering each other. Sharia smiled between her warmth inside.

After a while, the three of them managed to get on the bus.

Cloud has seated at an empty chair that made Ash to glare at him.

“Dude, Sharia needs the chair more than you.” Ash said while Cloud stick his tongue out.

“I sat here first.” Cloudre grinned while Sharia and Ash just stood there and only gripping on pole nor a handle.

The bus was a bit shaken, roughly on the way, the bus suddenly hit brakes and trumpet filled outside. The person from outside stood in the road was shock and bowed for his apology.

The cause of the sudden break, Sharia lost her balance and landed into Ash's arms.

Sharia's head is placed to his chest raised her head and her heart almost popped out of her chest, their lips were about to touch in few inches. She take a back fixing herself avoiding having eye contact with him.

Ash stared at her with lips open, he bit his lower lips and looked away.

It was shocking, as the scene of his lips and slight touch at her forehead played in his mind. He's cheeks turned red before having butterflies in his stomach touching his lips.

Ash pupils caught up Cloud's weird gaze, wearing a wide smile in his face, giving him a wink and thumbs up.

Ash glared while Cloud burst into laughter.

“You saw?” Ash asked and Ckoud shook his head.

“Of course.” He said plastering a smile in his face.

“Stop making fun of me!” Ash said.

Cloud chuckled with shaking his head and Ash cleared his throat and sighed.

As they got off from the bus, they arrived at the school.

The rain was heavy that still haven't stopped this time. The sky was gray and still haven't lighten up a bit. The thunder clapped.

Ash handed their things back to Cloud and Sharia.

“Thanks.” She thanked him with a nod.

Ash stared at her and nod his head.

“Anyways, I'll be leaving first. Bye love birds!” Cloud waved his hand on them.

Ash's eyes darted on him with a glare. Annoyance filled his senses. “You, bastard.” He says.

“Bye, Cloud.” Sharia waved back to him and smiled, ignoring Cloud's jokes he had said to both of them.

Cloud turned his back, walking away going to his room as soon as possible.

“Hey,“ Sharia turned her head to Ash that called her out of the blue.

“Hm? You called?” she raised her eyebrows.

“You should go to the room first, I'll catch up.” With that Ash turned his back and left.

Sharia was left there in the hallway, she silently watched him vanished from her sight, she sighed and face the other direction, without paying attention to her way, she bumped into a person.

“Oh sorry,” She lowered her head apologizing but when she looked up she saw a boy.

A boy around 7'3 tall and slender, her heart instantly skipped a beat. He had an azure and cat-like eyes, auburn and wavy hair.

“You don't have to apologize.” The boy said in a husky voice and his red lip formed a smile.

Sharia's lips are left open after all, his voice was slightly sexy voice that gave her goosebumps.

“I'm Adonis by the way.” Adonis said and chuckled before leaning closer to her ears. “Don't be late, miss. You admire me too much miss.” He whispered in her ear.

Sharia blinked and her cheeks turned red.

“Bye, miss.” Adonis winked and put his hand in his pockets before walking away.

Sharia was left standing there in daze watching the man's back vanished from her sight. She placed her hands in her chest, a rapid heart beat never stopped ever since she saw her face.

Ash popped out while Sharia's staring at nowhere, he glanced at the place she was staring at and narrowed his eyebrows. He was his hand in her face and snap his finger, but not sign of attention.

“Earth to dummy.” A familiar voice filled Sharia's mind.

“For an evil spirit please be afraid of this woman.” Sharia shakes her head and released Ash standing in front of her.

“Huh?” She responded leaving her lips open and stare at Ash for a moment.

“Dummy, I told you to go first but what are you still doing here? Did you really miss me that much?” Ash said.

Those words had sink in Sharia's mind, she bit her lower lips and glare at him in annoyance.

“Shut up.” Those words just come out from her mouth but a million word really wants to be released in her heart in rage.

She walked away and ignored him for the first time, she couldn't bear it, her blood was boiling as if her body would blow up.

During the class hours, Sharia and Ash was silently, glancing to each others faces secretly, but when they had they eye locked on each other they looked away with pride. Sharia crossed her arms and as for Ash he stared at the window while glaring.

During lunch Cloud, Ash and Sharia are on the same table. Sharia was facing Ash while next to both of them is Cloud.

Cloud stare at the both of them for a moment. They don't talk nor glance to each others face, they silently bowing their head munching to their food.

“Something wrong that both you hiding?” Cloud questioned. Sharia and Ash in front of him face him at the same time.

“"Shut up and eat."” Those were the statement that come from the both of their lips, they glanced at each others faces and glared looking away again.

Cloud tried to smile at his best. “Look like this lovebirds had a small quarrel…” He muttered himself in silence.

“If you had love quarrels then I'm out, you better fixed that matter yourselves.” Cloud stated and looked away then secretly grinned. But his eyes landed at the girl again, the girl familiar girl from her past, he sighed.

Sharia noticed that Cloud has been watching her too for a while, Sharia glanced at the girl that Cloud used to stare at, she shrug her shoulder and looked away.

After school... Sharia managed to ignore Ash from that long, after the class she immediately walked out from the room leaving Ash behind.

Ash sighed, he stood up and just kept his thoughts away. He grabbed his bag, looking in both sides of the hallway, his eyes and caught in sight of Sharia.

Sharia was talking with a tall guy, Ash's blood boiling and glared. “How come that she ignored me like that and flirt with someone?”

“Mind if I accompany you home?” Adonis asked and Sharia bit her lower lips.

“Um,” Sharia can't think of something to say she folded her arms, she sighed and stare at Adonis for a long time.

“She says no.” Ash said, both of them turned their head in his direction.

Ash stride towards them and stood beside her, Ash couldn't take off the look that the man was giving her, perhaps this man would cause trouble.

He pulled Sharia's wrist, saying, “She'll be only with me, not with you. Please don't trouble us.”

“Leave us alone,” he rotated his head on her and lean closer to her eyes. “Let's go and hurry up.”

They both walk away from Adonis and hurried their pace, leaving the school. On the road, Ash was continuing his pace and rotated his head making sure that they weren't followed.

“What's wrong with you?” Sharia asked.

“What is your problem?!” Sharia sighed and Ash shakes his head, he forced a smile that narrowed Sharia's brows.

Ash was rare to smile but that smile was hiding something, Sharia bit her lips and stroke her hair. “Why did we just run off like that?! What is your problem?!” She questioned.

Ash stared at her face, he clenched his teeth and balled his hands into fist, while staring at Sharia. “Don't talk to that man.”

Sharia glared, “Why not? It's not your business.”

“Are you really dumb? Just do what I say!” Ash pulled her wrist, forcing her to stay by his side and walked together on the road.

“Why are you being like this?!” She take off his hand in her wrist.

But Ash pulled him closer putting his hands on her shoulder, “BECAUSE I'M WORRIED!!!”

Those words hit her, her heart skipped a beat.

“Wha...what...?” Sharia asked and Ash stroke his hair.

“I'm just worried, okay? I'm worried.” He clarified.

“Happy now?” Ash asked and grabbed her wrist and pulled her again,

Sharia just let him do it and she did not hesitate to let him do it. Her heart couldn't stop beating so fast.

“Sharia, please do as I say.” Ash said while Sharia silently stare at his face.

Ash holds her shoulder and he pressed it tight, “Listen, if you care about yourself, please listen to me. Avoid that person.”

Sharia's eyes were staring straight into his pupils.

“Can you do that for me?” His eyelids that blinked slowly and the words he had said had stuck in her heart.

Sharia nod her head.

“Do you understand?”

Ash widened her eyes when Sharia suddenly held him closed and hugged him tight, Ash was in daze. He had butterflies in his stomach and Sharia smiled.

Ash wrapped his arms in his back, he wa comfortable, his heart like pounding out of his chest.

For first time, this happiness he might never forget. The way he had and for the other person that close to his heart.

“Thank you.”
