A Fall From Grace Part 2

Night after night Killa traveled to her very own angel - and they talked - of things to come, things that were and the magic that weaved through the universe. He taught her about herbs the wise men didn’t even consider and other forms of healing. Together they laughed and giggled until he had to leave her again.  His visits were sometimes interrupted and there would be a season of absence; a few days or weeks. However even when he didn’t descend to her Killa would still go to their spot and watch the night sky like she did before he shook up her heart.  When he was gone she missed him greatly - he was smart, strong, kind and beautiful.  He never neglected to mention how special and beautiful she was to him.  In his presence she felt fragile, seen and precious.  He was an angel.  But she was a woman.  And she began to crave him. Will he come tonight?  It had been weeks since she last saw him - and naturally she began to worry. Not that she knew much of the otherworld; she couldn’t say what he had to worry about or fear besides the Gods themselves. Watching as the sun set she sighed and took a big swig of water; it was summer now and even in the mountain her people could feel the effects of an unforgiving drought. Her skin was darker; her hair braided away from her face mostly held together by dry sweat and oil from running around in the heat all day. Perhaps that would have bothered her if it wasn’t for the the distance; she had bathed in the afternoon with the other women - the nearest place to bathe was such a far distance on the way back she was sweaty again. Even long after the sun slept the heat permeated the land… “I miss you” she cooed up to the stars praying Ciel would hear her call; it was a different kind a call - a call made with the wisdom that she loved him and longed for him. When did those feelings bud? She couldn’t say; it didn’t matter - not really. In her tribe they didn’t dwell on defining love. Only that it was natural, magical and real - you felt it build all at once in your belly, felt warm between the thighs and weak in the heart. The sudden need for the “other”. Their eyes, hands and mouth. She wish she had stayed ignorant though because now this hiatus felt unbearable. “I missed you to” Killa spun around to see a smiling Ciel and immediately ran to embrace him - she heard him chuckle before feeling his strong arms wrap around her “I have missed you so much” she embraced him tighter “Was everything okay in the sky..?” pulling away a bit she looked into his green eyes curiously.  “Well yes - some of my superiors have been getting a little suspicious about all my trips here...and in particular here - these mountains” - “Does that mean you won’t be able to visit me anymore?” her smiled dragged and her tone lowered. The thought of him not coming back again broke her heart.  “Oh No!” he smiled “No sweet Killa; nothing could keep me away from you” “Yeah?” “Yeah.” he nodded. And she realized they were still embracing each other.  “But why? Why me? Why do you keep coming down to see me? What you say about the others - it all doesn’t add up: you say you are helping me to help my people but if that was the case why would I have to keep you a secret” embarassed by her overflowing emotions she buried her head against his chest and waited for him to speak. She felt his arms move from her back to her face tilting her chin up to him “I told you. You are special” her eyes watered “But...Ciel...I love you” she watched as this creature of grace blushed before her brown teary eyes.  “I love you to” he almost whispered it as if he was realizing it for the first time; she closed her eyes with a smile letting the vibration of his words echo in her mind a little longer “I am glad…” the air stayed stagnant for a moment as they held each other innocently. “How has it been on my favorite mountain?” like a wave pulling away from the shore tore his gaze from hers and looked out at the dark land. She had always assumed she could see things she couldn’t - like a mountain cat. The inky landscape wasn’t a pit of fear and darkness under his green gaze “Life has been quite hard actually...it hasn’t rained since you left. Our crops and animals have been suffering. We have had to ration water...it’s so hot during the day. It’s why I look such a mess. I wasn’t sure if you wouldt actually come down tonight”. “Well that won’t do will it?” he walked closer to the edge of the mountain and turned back to her with a playful grin “My Killa’s land is blessed by an angel” extending his arm to the night sky a bolt of lighting shot up and clouds began to instantly gather. A second later it poured down causing Killa to yelp from the cool water soaking her hair and washing over her face “There. We have saved your crops, filled your wells and given us some cover”  “Some cover? We are getting soaked!” she laughed twirling in the rain playfully. He appeared before her suddenly inches from her face and he embraced her with his arms and covered her with his large white wings. Time felt like honey - the rain pounded against them and the thunder rolled in the sky; Killa took his face between her hands and softly pressed her lips against his. Stopping to breathe they looked at each other longingly and she couldn’t stop herself from kissing him again and again. His hands peeled back her sticky wet clothes and she giggled when she heard them drop on the rock with a dull thud. “You are so beautiful” he hummed tracing over her breasts in reverence; he could feel her heart beating beneath his fingertips. She was so warm and he continued to kiss her face. Killa grinned at his touch and clawed away hungrily at his white robe until he was equally exposed. Raking over his lean muscle greedily with her eyes she whispered again “I love you Ciel” She felt all the things her mentor told her - flutters in her tummy, warm and wet between her thighs and her heart was beating louder than a war drum. She wanted him - her thoughts funneled themselves into insatiable physical needs. And she went back to embrace him; pressing her body against his until she felt him stiffen against her “Killa” he grunted as she pulled away; his eyes held hers and they nodded sheepishly at one another “I have never..” “Neither have I Ciel but.. I love you. I want to be with you...please” she wouldn’t know it but the war going on in Ciel’s mind was lost. He loved her. God help him. What could he do? He would have to leave by morning...so he had to surrender this night to her. Because he loved her - he needed to. He wanted her. Wrapping his hands around her bottom he lifted her up against his waist and smiled as she curled her limbs around him. She trusted him so much. Laying her down gently on the moist rock his wings encircled them; shielding them from the rain. Their heavy breathing and the storm the only thing they could hear - Ciel kissed all over her face down her neck and over her chest. Each kiss soft and sweet as they fumbled lovingly against each other until finally they interlaced their fingers together and he entered her slowly. Her body stiffened against him from the pain but she took slower deeper breaths to continue to take him. “Are you okay?” Ciel stopped and looked down at her with concern; Killa nodded “Yes - please don’t stop” he leaned down and kissed her forehead before beginning to thrust again. The pain melted away to something sweet and they rode the wave upon wave together. Bodies crashing against each other until Killa was too exhausted to move; she slept on top of him her head nuzzled against his chest.  Ciel watched the small brown woman asleep against him - sweet and defenseless - not able to sleep himself  it took everything in him to not constantly reach out and caress her. He only had a little bit longer - he stretched the night as long as he could. Soaking up every second before the sun rose; when it did he let his wings drop so the sun would shine down on her skin and face. She blinked to life grinning with a stretch the moment she laid eyes on him “Nooo” she whined “It’s too soon” burying her face against him. Running his hand through her hair and down her back he sighed “Forgive me Killa...I must go back. I have to…” reluctantly she pulled away - searching for her damp clothing.  “I will be back soon. I promise”  Killa smiled “I know. I love you” After everything last night he still seemed so sweet, shy and awkward; leaning in to kiss her forehead he sighed “I love you to - please get down the mountain safely. I have to go” he pulled away and disappeared. His warmth replaced by the intensifying sun. … Alaster … The brown eyed demon watched the foolish angel ascended before casting his frustrated gaze at the naked human standing at the peak of the mountain her long dark hair waving down to her waist, the sun shining around her dark skin.  She looks like a goddess like that… He clenched his fist and cursed Ciel for involving her in the “affairs” of the otherworlds. Perhaps if he was honest...he was jealous. Forced to watch from the shadows - the start of this idiotic affair. Unlike Ciel: he was right where he was supposed to be. Commissioned by his Father to watch her day and night. She was smart and brave for a human - dirty but beautiful in her fragility. He hated to share Ciel’s admiration. Watching them make love made him sick… What of pleasure did Ciel know? Humans were creatures of pleasure. The lust he suddenly felt for her was overwhelming - he could manage that right at least..  None of it mattered. Ciel had f****d up; father would finally get the Great Duke he wanted - he made love to a human. His wings would burn. And Alaster could go back to hell where he belonged - God didn’t care about his prayers. All the same he closed his eyes and wished no harm would fall on the girl.  Just because another angel fell...doesn’t quite make him a demon. Yet. … 7 Days Later … Killa got to the peak at sunset - in the days since his departure coming back to the place made her happy. He said we would be back and she never doubted his words once; even with the strength of her trust she couldn’t stop herself from waiting night after night. Unaware of the other creature watching from the shadows. Finally darkness prevailed and the stars shined brighter for it and she wondered if Ciel also watched her from up there ...where she couldn’t see him. She hoped so.  “A falling star” she whispered, watching the light fall from the sky; closer and closer until she realized it was a ball of fire headed straight for her - gathering her things she ran away from the ledge until she could make out Ciel’s form.  He was falling from the sky. His wings ablaze in a vibrant blue flame; she cried out to him and walked closer as he glided to the ledge crashing violently into the rock. The impact shook the mountain causing Killa to fall to her knees; the flames were out but his wings were burned to the bone. “Ciel” she crawled over to him crying reaching out to caress his face. “Are you okay? You aren’t hurt?” he mumbled drunkenly “I am fine - I am fine Ciel - Are you okay? What can I do? I can gather my medical supplies to treat your wounds”. She was about to pull away when she felt his grip tighten around her wrist “No - I will heal soon. Just stay here; let me rest my head against you” She gave him a hesitant look but nodded. She didn’t know how fast he could heal - what pain they could withstand - Killa had no reason not to trust his words. As he nuzzled against her for the night she ran her fingers through his hair and sang soft lullabies; her tears fell on his skin cooling the burns. Ciel knew those tears were full of love and healing energy ...spirit energy. Like God was crying to.
