“Fascinating.” Malus said and, for once, Kalliope believed him. The War Prince had been listening to her droning for what felt like hours, about magic nonetheless. They had gone to the bow of the ship, after the crew were done marvelling and complimenting Kalliope’s skills, and were enjoying a nice pitched of wine. Malus was an attentive listener and seemed genuinely interested in her magic, bombarding Kalliope with questions and eager for her babbles.
